Crusader International Management (Cayman) Ltd. can offer clients a wide array of captive management and related insurance services through our affiliates.  We operate from a number of offshore and domestic domiciles that have efficient captive insurance legislation.  The group is comprised of captive insurance managers, domestic and offshore rent-a-captive facilities, as well as an offshore life and annuity company. In the United States, we also operate an insurance agency, which is licensed in all states.  One company, Advantage Life & Annuity Company SPC, invests funds through specifically designed insurance dedicated funds available only to their policy holders.

As an independent organization, we are not influenced by the pressures of external forces.  We are trustworthy managers dedicated to achieving the highest ethical standards in our industry.  Our principals are well regarded as leaders throughout the industry and we maintain an outstanding reputation in each domicile in which we do business.

Crusader International Management (Cayman) Ltd. was founded in 1993 by Ian Kilpatrick, who has more than three decades of experience in international insurance and finance.  Fiona Moseley is the Managing Director.

Mr. Kilpatrick was the major shareholder of Insurance Management Consultants (Cayman) Ltd., a company that created programs for 27 captives from the United States and Europe.  After Johnson & Higgins purchased Insurance Management Consultants, Mr. Kilpatrick remained with the company as its Managing Director and built it into the largest captive management company in the Cayman Islands.  He was the founding chairman of the Insurance Managers Association of the Cayman Islands and continues to contribute articles to the Cayman Financial Services Review and other industry publications.  Mr. Kilpatrick is also a Director of the Captive Insurance Companies Association.

Fiona Moseley is the Managing Director of Crusader International Management (Cayman) Ltd., and has worked with Crusader since its inception in 1993.  Prior to that worked for the founder of the group on captive insurance projects.  With over 17 years experience in the captive insurance industry, her specific area of expertise is in offshore life and annuity products and their integration with wealth and estate planning mechanisms.  In addition to this Mrs. Moseley is the Director of two insurance related Segregated Portfolio Companies (SPC) and acts as Secretary on several SPC’s which are set up as financing or mutual fund vehicles.  She is in the Insurance Managers Association Cayman Ltd., and is currently Vice-President of the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman Central.
