We are prepared to explore with corporate management, professional associations and insurance agents the prerequisites for a captive insurance company and perform a feasibility study to determine whether or not the formation of a captive makes viable financial sense.
Subsequently, we will arrange for the provision of full management services, which include:
- Establishment and placement of a sound insurance and reinsurance program, involving actuarial studies; determination of retention levels and stop loss limits; selection of a sound reinsurance structure either by treaty or by facultative placement; and the establishment of policy issuing arrangements.
- Installation of a loss prevention and risk management program, entailing an evaluation of the insurance risks and implementation of a loss prevention program together with continuing monitoring of the effectiveness of such a program.
- Claims management, which includes the evaluation, adjustment and settlement of claims; the selection where necessary of independent adjusters; and the appointment of legal counsel.
- Administrative Services, which include organization of the controlled insurance company; legal and accounting services; and policyholder services.
- Fund Management, involving provision of cash flow analysis; recommendations regarding the establishment of an adequate capital and reserve structure; recommendations regarding the types of investments the controlled insurance company should consider.
